We had the great opportunity to partner with the Do Good Experience at their 2010 Atlanta conference. For those that do not know what the Do Good Experience is, let me fill you in … For two days high school and college aged men and women heard from socially conscience organizations like Cause Life, To Write Love on Her Arms, Desire Street Ministries, etc. and then took time to go out and “do good” in the community.

We were approached by the great people putting this conference together to assemble projects for the attends to do all around Atlanta.  We had groups doing everything from cleaning up a homeless camp compound right on the side of 75/85, working in the Atlanta Union Mission thrift store, helping with landscape issues at a local shelter, sorting and organizing furniture at Furniture Bank of Atlanta and walking through Piedmont Park showing simple love to people.

It was amazing to see love in action all around our city! We hope that this encourages you to “do good” in your community – it could be as simple as picking up trash or telling people in a park that you love them. You can do a little or you can do a lot, but please … do something!
