We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the 14th LIVE LOVE EVENT. Saturday was awesome! Over 100 volunteers gathered together to show love to the city. Together we…
- Served Meals to Homeless Men and Women at Safehouse Outreach
- Went Extreme Couponing and Packed Groceries With Save It Forward
- Served Meals at Sober Living
- Served in the Thrift Store at Veteran’s Empowerment Organization
- Built Tables and Washed Trucks at The Furniture Bank of Atlanta
- Sorted and Prepare Clothing to Be Sold at Be Loved
- Served the Gateway Center in a variety of ways
One volunteer said, “It’s very outside my ‘comfort zone’ to hang out and visit with people, as I did today, but I am thankful for the opportunity to stretch and grow.” Another said, ” I loved feeling like we were able to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time.”
The event was another huge success. Thank you to all who participated. We look forward to having you at the next LIVE LOVE EVENT.
